METAR - MÉTéorologique Aviation Régulière
MÉTéorologique Aviation Régulière, or commonly recognised as METAR, is a meteorological reporting systems used in the aviation industry. It is predominately used for pilots in fulfillment of a part of a pre-flight weather briefing, and by meteorologists, who use aggregated METAR information to assist inweather forecasting.
